About Us

Barry – also known as The Boiler King – has been working on boilers for over 25 years. Having spent his career alongside major breakdown companies and boiler manufacturers, there’s very little Barry doesn’t know about heating systems. We’re genuinely honoured to have him as part of the team, bringing a wealth of expertise and experience to every job he attends.

Liam has over 20 years of experience in the commercial plumbing and heating sector. Starting the company over 12 years ago he is our lead technical operative and also a fully qualified Oil and LPG engineer. Liam’s extensive hands‑on expertise and leadership ensure that every project is delivered to the highest standard.

Kieron has spent over 25 years looking after Wigan Council’s buildings, specialising in both plumbing and heating. He is a domestic boiler installer and one of our qualified commercial engineers. In addition, he holds Laundry and LPG qualifications. As our longest‑serving team member, Kieron’s reliability, experience, and work ethic are a huge asset to the company.

The team leader Gareth brings over 25 years of experience working across new‑build housing, boiler installations, commercial plant rooms, and all aspects of plumbing. Known for his problem‑solving skills, he’s the man who can get to the bottom of any issue. His broad expertise and leadership make him an invaluable part of the team.

Matty is a qualified plumber and domestic gas engineer, specialising in gas servicing and issuing gas safety certificates. Always willing to learn and go the extra mile, Matty consistently shows the drive and commitment that will take him far in this sector. His positive attitude and dedication make him a valued member of the team.

Jack is our newest gas apprentice, and he’s already bringing his A‑game. Learning from the experienced team around him, he’s set up for success from day one. Jack is polite, hardworking, and genuinely enjoys being part of Ace Gas. With his positive attitude and eagerness to learn, we’re confident he has a bright future in the industry.

Vicky is our admin assistant, bringing over 25 years of experience working within plumbing and administrative environments. Her knowledge of the trade, combined with her strong organisational skills, makes her a perfect fit for Ace Gas. Vicky keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes and is an invaluable part of the team.
